Coach Tai Bundit is known for intense training sessions for the Ateneo Blue Eagles women's volleyball team.

But make no mistake, it has produced multiple championships in the UAAP.

Now, he's handling a men's squad as he helms Rebisco's Criss Cross King Crunchers in the Spikers' Turf.

"I will do better in the men's team [in] Rebisco," he said to reporters on Friday. "My players are very good, they concentrate to train in the training and I will support them to be better players ."

But what is the team's first impression with his training program?

"If I were to describe coach Tai’s training, it’s hard pero happy. Hard pero as in happy, happy kahit gaano nakakapagod smile lang, happy lang, good vibes," Rex Intal said.

"Focused si coach Tai sa basic skills. Hindi pwedeng pabanjing-banjing. Kailangan seryoso ka. Scheduled niya per drill. Kailangan matapos ito dito sa time na 'to," captain Ysay Marasigan explained.

"Ibang coaching style 'din siya. So ang inaano namin is happy, and maging heartstrong ganon 'yung laging sinasabi ni coach Tai samin," Jude Garcia shared.

"'Yung literal po na heartstrong kasi yung training namin, 'di siya basta-basta. May happy moments pero kailangan mo talagang tibayan talaga -yung puso mo dahil kung hindi… Basta kailangan heartstrong. Tulog," Jaron Requinton added.

Bundit has plenty of reasons to drive his team hard. His dream for them is to become champions.
