The Filipinas rose to 38th back in December 2023, their highest-ever, after their debut in the FIFA Women's World Cup and after reaching the quarterfinals of the Asian Games.
The Mark Torcaso-helmed squad regrouped in February, heading to Spain for a friendly as well as participating again in the Pinatar Cup.
Finland blanked the Philippines in a friendly, 4-0.
In the Pinatar Cup, Scotland won the semifinals, 2-0. Slovenia clinched third place by blanking the Philippines, 1-0.
The Filipinas' rank is still good for seventh in Asia and third in the AFF/ASEAN region.
