Denice Zamboanga aims to become the undisputed ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion as she faces reigning titleholder Stamp Fairtex in a highly anticipated unification bout at ONE 173: Denver.
Filipina MMA star Denice Zamboanga is on the brink of history as she prepares to face reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion Stamp Fairtex in a high-stakes title unification bout at ONE 173: Denver on August 1, 2025, at Ball Arena in Colorado.
Zamboanga, who captured the interim atomweight title with a stunning knockout victory over Alyona Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27, now has the opportunity to cement herself as the undisputed queen of the division.
But to do so, she must overcome Stamp—her former training partner and the first three-sport World Champion in ONE history.
“This upcoming fight against Stamp in the United States is a dream come true for me,” Zamboanga said. “It’s not just a personal milestone but a significant moment for the Philippines. Representing my country on such a grand stage fills me with immense pride. I am ready to give my all and bring honor to our nation.”

Since her ONE Championship debut in 2019, Zamboanga has steadily risen through the atomweight ranks with her well-rounded skill set and relentless fighting style.
Now, she faces her toughest test yet against Stamp, who has dominated the division and is set to defend her title for the first time.
Despite their friendship, Zamboanga has made it clear that once the cage door closes, her focus will be solely on winning.
“Stamp and I respect each other, but this is business. When the fight starts, there’s only one thing on my mind—victory,” she emphasized.

This fight has been years in the making.
The two warriors were originally scheduled to clash in 2024, but an injury forced Stamp to withdraw. Now fully recovered, the Thai superstar is ready to defend her title and make another statement in her return to the U.S.
“I’m so happy to be going back to the U.S. again,” Stamp said. “I was supposed to face Denice last year, but unfortunately, I got injured. Now, we finally get to fight for the belt. I was blown away by the support I received from all of my U.S. fans at ONE Fight Night 10, and I can’t wait to put on a show for them again this August at ONE 173.”
ONE Championship continues its North American expansion, building on its successful U.S. debut in May 2023, when a sold-out crowd packed the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
The organization followed that up with over 10,000 fans at Ball Arena for ONE 168 last September, which generated an $18 million economic impact for Denver, according to the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.
Now, with ONE 173 set for August 1, the promotion promises to deliver another historic night featuring Stamp vs. Zamboanga and additional marquee bouts yet to be announced.
“Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga, former training partners and now rivals, will step inside the Circle to unify the Women’s Atomweight MMA World Championship in a fight the entire world is waiting for,” said ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
