MACAU—The New Taipei Kings bagged third place honors in the East Asia Super League (EASL) Final Four 2025 after a thrilling 84-80 victory against the Ryukyu Golden Kings Sunday at Studio City here.

Trailing 74-80 in the final 1:31 of regulation, the Kings out of Taiwan stormed all the way back with a sensational closing run capped by Jeremy Lin’s assist to Su Shih-Hsuan, who delivered the triple to give New Taipei an 82-80 lead with 12.7 seconds left.

Ryuichi Kishimoto tried to put Ryukyu back in the lead but his three-pointer came up short, as Kenny Manigault then sealed the New Taipei victory with free throws.

Lin led the team with 18 points, while his younger brother Joseph contributed 16 markers. Manigault also scored 16, with Austin Daye and Sani Sakakini adding 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Alex Kirk and Keve Aluma did all they could for the Golden Kings, putting up 27 and 25 points, respectively, in the losing effort. The pair also combined for 26 rebounds.

New Taipei will pocket $250,000 for the third-place finish, with the Kings also taking their first EASL trophy after a fourth place finish last year in the Final Four in Cebu.
