Eight-division boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and South Korean martial artist DK Yoo may be facing each other in an exhibition match, but they have both said this is not just going to be a just-for-fun bout.

“The fight is real”

As always, Pacquiao respects his foe’s skills no matter the status or rankings. Pacman has had a “serious” training as if he’s preparing for a professional bout.

The southpaw boxer seemed bent on giving the fans a good fight on Sunday at the Seoul Arena, so expect to see him launch those 6-punch combinations that sent a bevy of great fighters into the canvas one too many times.

In fact, in an October interview, the Filipino pugilist said the fight is going to be a real fight.

“We will try to knock each other out. That’s why we need to work hard,” he said.

Perhaps we should just take him for his word. After all, he came out of retirement to fight Yoo.

Want to see how serious Pacman is? Here’s a peek into his training camp:

Yoo eager to prove he can win with jabs

Yoo, a Youtuber, is not just fighting for the clout. Who fights the eight-division boxing champion just for clout anyway?

The South Korean, also a southpaw, made a fearless forecast that he will beat Pacquiao with a jab.

Given Yoo’s height and reach, it seems that the most effective ploy is to use jabs to keep Pacquiao at bay. You don’t want to be within the grizzled Pacquiao’s reach.

In a video in October, the 5-foot-10 Yoo, who claims to be a master of 15 disciplines, posted on his Instagram working on his jabs at Pacquiao’s old home in the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.

Should Logan Paul be threatened by Yoo? We will see in tomorrow's fight.
