Just like that, Dave Ildefonso’s professional career has jump started in South Korea.

The former UAAP Blue Eagle scored five points in Suwon KT Sonicboom’s 77-66 win over the Seoul Samsung Thunders on Thursday.

Here are some of the good and not so bad highlights from Ildefonso’s first ever professional game.

First, the son of PBA legend Danny Ildefonso started on a good note, as the Sonicbooms snapped a two-game slide in his first game with the squad.

Dave also technically shot 50% from the field — on 2-of-4 shooting, including a three-pointer.

Considering Ildefonso has only trained with the Korean squad in less than a month, it’s safe to assume his performance will only get better.

One of the rare “negative” parts of Dave’s debut would be his “limited” playing time of 17 minutes.

Fans would also like to see Ildefonso flow with the offense more (both his makes are from pull-up jumpers).

But again, it’s not fair to judge Ildefonso’s game with just one sample.

It is safe to assume that the young Pinoy hooper will only get better as he spends more time with the Sonicboom.
