Carlo Paalam and Nesthy Petecio, both silver medalists in boxing in Tokyo, will lead the Philippines to Paris 2024 as flag bearers.
Tokyo 2020 medalists Carlo Paalam and Nesthy Petecio will serve as the flag bearers when the Philippine Centennial team take the stage for the Opening Ceremonies in the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Philippine Olympic Committee President Bambol Tolentino confirmed the development Monday, June 17.
Paalam and Petecio, both silver medalists in boxing in Tokyo, will lead the Philippines to Paris. The current Centennial Team of the Olympics currently consist of 15 members.

It will be the second time for Petecio to carry the Philippine flag in an Olympic ceremony, having done so in the closing festivities in Tokyo.
Eumir Marcial and Kiyomi Watanabe carried the Philippine flag during the Opening Ceremonies in Japan three years ago.
