When it comes to favorites, Filipino moms have one clear choice: their tupperware!

Forget the panganay or the bunso—nothing beats that perfectly matched lid and container combo.

And every Filipino knows the struggle of keeping mom’s favorite container safe, as even on the grandest stage of the Olympics, Pinoy gymnast Carlos Yulo did not forget to bring his famous tupperware to the men’s artistic all-around finals.

“Carlos Yulo is me during recess with my baon,” jokingly posted by a user from X (formerly known as Twitter).

Caloy bringing a tupperware to the Olympics is the most relatable thing ever as a Pinoy.

“Pakiingatan yung tupperware. Walang olympics olympics sa mga nanay nating pinoy hahanapin yan pag nawala lagot ka Carlos Yulo chz HAHAHAHAHA,” reposted an X user.

“Carlos Yulo and his mahiwagang tupperware against the world,” added another X user.

Yulo candidly shared to One Sports why he brought a tupperware to store the chalk needed for his routines, while other competitors brought bags.

"Actually, ayun po kasi ‘yong nakasanayan namin sa Japan sa training. Every time na pupunta sa ibang competition, may dala po talaga kaming tupperware. ‘Yung sa kanila nga, mas malaki pa po, eh. ‘Yung sa akin po kasi mag-isa lang ako, so ‘di ko kailangan ng malaking tupperware. ‘Yung handly lang saka madaling dalhin,” he explained.

His famous tupperware seems to be his lucky charm, as he ranked 12th in the men’s artistic all-around finals.

He is set to compete in the floor exercise finals on August 3 and the vault finals on August 4.

So Caloy alam na. Don’t forget to bring your lucky tupperware! Kidding!
