Fan favorite PBA import not returning yet this upcoming season

San Miguel Beermen fans will have to wait longer for the return of champion import Chris McCullough.

The 28-year-old forward gave an update on X (formerly Twitter) when an SMB supporter replied on his account.

"My favorite import in SMB! Hopefully, you can play this upcoming PBA Commissioner's Cup! God bless, my idol!" Lester Victolero tweeted.

"Appreciate it. Not this season, but I'll see you soon," McCullough responded.

The high-scoring import last played for the Beermen in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup where he led the celebrated franchise to win the title averaging 35 points, 19 rebounds, and 4 assists in the finals.

Since then, SMB struggled to find its groove, winning only one out of the last seven cups.

Another San Miguel fan pointed out that the franchise missed "a couple of chips" without McCullough.
