Gray is still expected to play a huge role for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel once he gets back.
Here’s some positive news for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel fans.
Jeremiah Gray let his social media followers in on his recovery from a serious knee injury he suffered during Ginebra’s final PBA On Tour match versus the NLEX Road Warriors.
On Instagram, Gray posted a photo of his legs while he's lying on what seems to be a physical therapy table, presumably a part of his recovery plan. ![](https://1cms-img.imgix.net/gray%20ig%20story%20knee%20recovery.jpg)
Initial examination indicated that Gray had a dislocated knee, but multiple reports have said that he suffered injuries to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), as well as his posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL).
This is the second time in the past two years that Gray went down with a serious knee injury. He even admitted that he was still recovery mentally from the injury prior to this new challenge he faces.
It’ll be a long road to recovery for the 6-foot-5 guard, but nonetheless, he remains faithful.
"Hey Lord, I trust You," Gray wrote also on Instagram on Sunday, and even included that hashtag #godsplan.
For now, Ginebra will have to try and defend their PBA Commissioner’s Cup crown without Gray.
Due to the severity of his injuries, the sophomore guard is expected be out for the entire season of the PBA, but Ginebra coaches, players, and fans remain hopeful about Gray’s future in the league.
