Some hoopers play better when they’re mad, while others are at their best when they’re having fun.

Glenn Khobuntin of the TNT Tropang Giga seems to be the fun-loving type.

It was evident during their practice session ahead of their showdown versus the Taipei Fubon Braves in the East Asia Super League (EASL). During shootaround, the 32-year-old Khobuntin felt the urge to let loose and do something out of the ordinary, which is, of course, designed to draw barrels of laughter out of his teammates and TNT fans.

Well, it was mission accomplished for the eight-year PBA veteran. On Monday, both TNT and the EASL shared a video on Instagram that showed Khobuntin hitting a three-ball from the corner a la Stephen Curry.

He then did a parody of the Golden State Warriors superstar’s “night, night” celebration by literally hitting the couch, pretending to be asleep, and then waking up.

Who knew Khobuntin was good at doing comedy skits?

Of course, his little stunt was a hit, especially among his fellow players.TNT wing Matt Ganuelas-Rosser commented a laughing emoji, while former TNT player Gab Banal accused assistant coach Sandy Arespacochaga of being in cahoots with Khobuntin.

“Idea mo na naman ‘to no, Coach Sandy?” Banal commented.

Not to be a buzzkill, but the goofing around should come to a halt this Wednesday when the Tropang Giga face the Fubon Braves at the Taipei Heping Stadium.

Both squads are 0-2 in the EASL, so expect a slugfest as only one will break into the win column.
