Kyt Jimenez is one unbothered king.

The San Miguel Beermen got a rude welcome in their first game of the PBA Commissioner's Cup, as they lost in overtime to the NLEX Road Warriors last Wednesday, 117-113.

Jimenez, who was recently activated by San Miguel, did not see action in the tight ball game. But he's not fazed at all.

In his vlog, Jimenez said being benched as a rookie was normal, especially since he's with a champion team like the Beermen, where the guard position is stacked.

While Jimenez is taking his benching with grace, the 76th overall pick has plenty of words against those who continue to hate on him.

"'Yung mga di naniniwala sa 'tin, mga nagda-doubt, gawin silang motivation. 'Wag niyo silang pansinin, 'wag padala sa comments sila," he said to his viewers.

"From dayu-dayo lang naman ako, sinasabi nila. Nasaan na ba ko ngayon, 'di ba? Nasa PBA na 'ko, 'yun 'yung pangarap ko," he added.

"Kahit anong hatak nila pababa, 'di naman sila nagtagumpay. 'Yung mga salita nilang pangit, wala namang patama sa'kin."

That's a pretty mature way of handling it.

Getting a lot of bashers comes with the territory of being a social media sensation. Jimenez knows it. But he's learned to tune out the hate.

He could have his chance to make his much-anticipated PBA debut this Sunday, as the Beermen take on the Meralco Bolts at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It will be aired live at 3 p.m. on A2Z, PBA Rush, and the Pilipinas Live app.
