Terrence Romeo approached Yeng Guiao before Game Four of their just-concluded PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup semifinal series.
All is now well between Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao and San Miguel gunner Terrence Romeo.
Guiao and Romeo are ready to move on from the heated verbal spat at the end of Game Three that added spice to their PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup semifinal series.
Romeo said he approached Guiao before Game Four’s tipoff on Friday night, May 24, at the Mall of Asia Arena to apologize.
“Lumapit lang ako kay coach Yeng. Sabi ko, ‘Pasensya na, 'di ko naman intensyon na mag-disrespect o mambastos’,” the cat-quick guard told reporters after the Beermen swept the Elasto Painters in their best-of-seven penultimate round battle to advance to the finals.

The fiery mentor blew his top last Wednesday, May 22, after Romeo nailed a three-pointer with 3.7 ticks remaining with the game already settled for the Beermen.
Guiao later described the act as disrespectful.

But the multi-titled tactician let bygones be bygones and accepted Romeo’s apology.
“I accepted his apology, so tapos na 'yung usapan. Wala na 'yun. Ibig sabihin, move forward na tayo after that,” said Guiao after Rain or Shine was sent off by San Miguel via a 107-100 comeback victory.
“Nilapitan niya ako before the game. 'Yun lang naman ang importante doon. 'Di naman kailangan mong kargahin nang matagalan as long as nag-apologize na," said Guiao.
