After failing to complete a season sweep, the San Miguel Beermen make a fresh start in the PBA Governors’ Cup.

But keeping the lineup intact was understandable.
After all, San Miguel remains a powerhouse team with potential eight-time MVP June Mar Fajardo in the fold anyway.

Outlook:
No matter the conference, the Beermen are always contenders.
The season-opening Governors’ Cup is no different, with the team tapping former Memphis Grizzlies pick Adams.
The Beermen also found the extra motivation to come out better following a runner-up finish in the Philippine Cup last season.
