A three-time PBA champion head coach, Tanquingcen will join Uichico’s coaching staff as the Road Warriors look to shift into a higher gear come the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.

Together, Uichico and Tanquingcen won three titles with San Miguel Beermen at the turn of the millenium to usher in a new era for the Beermen.

After they parted ways, Tanquingcen made a name for himself and guided Ginebra to two PBA titles right away.

Tanquingcen and Uichico have a combined 12 PBA titles as head coach.

Now they will join forces again in hopes of delivering NLEX its first championship trophy in Asia’s pioneering league.

The Road Warriors have also looked hell-bent on doing that after signing one-time Los Angeles Laker Ed Davis as import for the mid-season conference.
