The NLEX Road Warriors picked up where they left off, earning another double-digit victory after dominating the hapless Terrafirma Dyip in PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup action.
For the first time in this PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup, Robert Bolick and the NLEX Road Warriors have gone streaking.
Bolick went for 32 big points, spearheading a 104-85 wire-to-wire decision for NLEX over Terrafirma, making it back-to-back wins for the Road Warriors on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
The prolific guard put up another strong offensive performance for back-to-back Player of the Game honors.
Before this 30-piece, Bolick was coming off a 23-point, 10-assist outing in a 107-95 win over the Blackwater Bossing in their last outing.
After leading by as many as 25 points, NLEX saw Terrafirma come to within seven points, 88-81, after a Kevin Ferrer triple with 4:49 left to play.
But the Road Warriors showed their composure and kept the Dyip at bay en route to improving to a 2-1 card early in the mid-season conference.
NLEX aims for a hat trick of wins when the Road Warriors lock horns against defending champion San Miguel Beermen on Sunday, December 8, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Meanwhile, Terrafirma dropped to 0-3 with the loss. The Dyip will continue their hunt for a first win in the Commissioner's Cup against Meralco for their next game.
