Paul Lee was reduced to a cheerleader in Magnolia’s sorry loss to NorthPort in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Paul Lee watched on as Magnolia fell short anew against NorthPort, 107-103, in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
In street clothes, Lee is nursing a rib contusion he sustained late in the Hotshots’ loss to Converge in their previous game.
The Magnolia star said he suffered the injury after a collision with FiberXers import Cheick Diallo in the final play.

“Nag-set ako ng screen sa import. Sinagasaan ako, eh,” said Lee after Magnolia suffered its second straight loss at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate.
“Medyo limited ang movement ko. Masakit pag gumagalaw ako.”

Asked if there’s a timetable for his return, the Magnolia gunner said he is day-to-day.
“Depende sa pag-subside ng swelling at saka ng pain na nararamdaman ko. Mayroon akong galaw na nahihirapan ako,” Lee said.

Lee will have plenty of time to rest and get better as Magnolia is not playing until Dec. 11 when it faces TNT.
Match starts at 5 p.m. in the same Malate venue.
