No George King, no problem for the Blackwater Bossing.

Justin Chua continued his fine play, helping the Bossing pick up a morale-boosting 100-92 win over the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup Tuesday at Ynares Antipolo.

Chua finished with a 22-point, 11-rebound double-double on the night import George King was a late scratch due to an ankle injury he sustained in their last outing against the Converge FiberXers.

Christian David also posted a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds for Blackwater, who squandered a 15-point lead but delivered when it mattered the most, despite also dealing with the absence of star rookie Sedrick Barefield.

With the win, the Bossing improved to 3-8 with one game remaining in their elimination round campaign.

Donovan Smith scored 24 of his 32 points in the opening half, while Jason Perkins added 19 more for the Fuel Masters, who also dropped to 3-8.

Phoenix caps its elimination round campaign against the top-ranked TNT Tropang Giga on Friday, January 24. Meanwhile, Blackwater takes on the NorthPort Batang Pier in their final game.
