The product of University of Utah is bolstering the Bay Area Dragons in the EASL.
Nothing’s set in stone yet as far as Sedrick Barefield’s future is concerned.
When asked by Power & Play host Noli Eala about throwing his name in the hat for the PBA draft, the Filipino-American didn’t give a definite answer.
Right now, Barefield is focused on helping the Bay Area Dragons in their East Asia Super League (EASL) Champions Week campaign.
“I’m not sure yet. I think the EASL for me is a big opportunity. A lot of people are gonna be watching. I haven’t made my mind up on anything. Just trying to get it done. Trying to win,” he said.
Pressed for answer, he responded with a similar refrain.
“As of now, not yet,” he said when asked if there’s already a destination for him after EASL.
Before joining the Dragons, who were fresh from a runner up finish in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, the 26-year-old guard from California bolstered a Strong Group side which featured the likes of former NBA players Nick Young and Renald Balkman in the 32nd Dubai International Basketball Championship.
His Dragons are bracketed with TNT Tropang Giga, Seoul SK Knights, and Utsonomiya Brex in Group B of the March 1 to 5 tournament in Japan.
