After eight games with a new coach and system, they are still trying to figure it out.
Much has improved for the PLDT High Speed Hitters since the last time they were in the semifinals back in the PVL Invitational Conference.
With a new coach and system in place, Mika Reyes said she has seen the growth in all aspects of PLDT's game.
“I think sa lahat naman ng aspects, lalo ngayon may different system,” said Reyes of the improvements the High Speed Hitters are showing.
Reyes said this in the aftermath of the team’s 21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-16 victory over the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday.
The win allowed the High Speed Hitters to put a stranglehold on the number 3 seed heading into the semifinals, where they will go up against the very formidable Petro Gazz Angels.
After eight games in the elimination round, the former La Salle Lady Spiker admits they are still adjusting.
And with only a day to prepare for the penultimate stage, they need to do so in the soonest time possible.
“Tina-try naming maka adjust agad kasi walang ibang oras, kasi ngayon semis na namin. As soon as possible kailangan maka-adapt kami,” she said.
