You can think about a lot of things on the road.
"Do you ever just go for a drive?"
Mika Reyes of the PLDT High Speed Hitters posed the question on Wednesday, as she shared this photo of a nearly empty stretch of road.
And the comments section showed the two schools of thought on the matter.
"Spontaneous Tagaytay drives," wrote Trina Guytingco of the Gilas Pilipinas Women and the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
"Naurrr sayang gas," responded Reyes' teammate, Jules Samonte.
The captain of the High Speed Hitters has been enjoying the PVL break, as she continues to recover from a shoulder procedure done during the All-Filipino Conference.
Reyes missed PLDT's opening game of the PVL Invitational Conference against the Akari Chargers, but the High Speed Hitters got the straight-sets win even without the star middle blocker and Mean Mendrez, who is nursing a knee injury.
"Mean just had a recent knee issue, but it's not a big concern. Mika is still recovering from her shoulder, but she's doing well and able to keep up with the training," coach Rald Ricafort said to reporters after their match.
"Yes, everyone will be able to play [after the break]. We're just rotating the minutes."
The volleyball scene has been busy with the Volleyball Nations League this week, but PVL returns to action next week, with PLDT set to play on July 13 at 4 p.m. against the undefeated Creamline Cool Smashers.
