As with any squad aiming to foster camaraderie, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers had a team building on the beach.
Kim Kianna Dy chronicled the preseason activities in her latest vlog on YouTube, highlighted by games designed to improve communication and teamwork, alongside smores and a bonfire to cap the productive day.
In the heat of an intense game, Dy and Myla Pablo pulled rookie Jolina dela Cruz and fired a burning question.
“Masaya ka ba sa F2?”
The UAAP Season 85 1st Best Outside Spiker answered with a resounding yes, before adding something when asked why, which drew laughter from her seniors.
“'Di kasi ako napre-pressure dito. Kasi may senior ako dito ate,” said dela Cruz, who recently helped La Salle Lady Spikers win the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball championship.
Turning serious, dela Cruz said it’s got a lot to do with familiarity and family.
“Family and kilala ko na rin po sila,” she said before returning to their game by the beach.
That will be put to the test again on Tuesday when the Cargo Movers take on a retooled Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the PVL Invitational Conference.
Game time is set at 6:30 p.m. at the Philsports Arena, with the Cargo Movers looking to fortify their hold on the top spot in Pool B.
F2 and Choco Mucho currently hold identical 2-0 records.
