Long road ahead for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers without their key players.
The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers just saw how difficult the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference was going to be when they found themselves upset by the Akari Chargers in five sets last Tuesday.
It was a rude start to the conference, as the squad in yellow played without the recovering Kim Kianna Dy and main libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig.
Team captain Aby Maraño though went on social media to rally her troops. The always-outspoken veteran knows it's going to be a long road ahead with 10 more matches to go.
"That was an intense PVL opening match for us but we still have a long way to go in this conference," she posted on Instagram a day after their opening loss to the Chargers.
Tyang Aby had eight points in the match, including an ace.
"Thankful lang ako for an injury-free game yesterday and genuinely sa efforts ng teammates ko and coaching staff," she added.
"Babawi ang mga Barbie, bantay ra mo diha," Maraño added.
No wonder why Ivy Lacsina, who erupted for a career-high 26 points in the losing effort, looks up to Tyang Aby and remarked on her strength.
Other Cargo Movers, meanwhile, commented on Maraño's post, including Ara Galang, Myla Pablo, and Mars Alba.
BMDC's former De La Salle Lady Spikers teammate Melissa Gohing also expressed her support.
F2 Logistics will try to bounce back against the Takayuki Minowa-coached Nxled Chameleons on Tuesday at the Ynares Center, Antipolo.
It will be aired live at 3 p.m. on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
