There's a reason why the Choco Mucho Flying Titans look up to their captain Bea de Leon despite her limited playing time so far in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.

BDL's reduced minutes may be tactical on the part of Choco Mucho's coaching staff, but make no mistake that she remains one of the undisputed leaders of the Flying Titans.

And libero Denden Lazaro-Revilla shared precisely why in an Instagram Story on Tuesday.

"Always in awe of this girl," she posted, tagging Kapitana Bea.

BDL shared the story of 83-year-old Tita Goring and her progress through physical therapy.

"Her first day with us, she could barely walk. There would be at least two people watching over her plus a walker. Ngayon, kuwento nila sa bahay, tumatakas na daw bigla kahit walang tungkod!" De Leon shared.

While Tita Goring was learning to walk again, she provided BDL precious time to talk every morning.

"Her humor, strength, and perseverance have inspired me to take on life’s struggles as she has—with a lot of faith, love, and laughs," the Choco Mucho star added.

"I’ve always dreamed of being a doctor—obviously, that might not happen anymore. But I’m happy that through this, sana marami pa rin kaming mapagaling at matulungan."

"You have a heart of gold B! Always proud of you 😘," Lazaro-Revilla added on the Instagram post.

De Leon may not be a doctor, but she has already helped out quite a number of people, starting with her scholarship program for Ateneo

Now that's a person we should be voting for as Kapitana!

The 1-1 Choco Mucho Flying Titans will next take on the 1-1 Cignal HD Spikers on Thursday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

It will be aired live at 6 p.m. on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
