The Cargo Movers are finding their groove in the new conference.
The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers continue to round into championship form in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference after sweeping the Galeries Tower Highrisers, 25-15, 25-22, 25-17, at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.
The Cargo Movers flexed their might over the Highrisers early on in the match, and they never let up until match point.
The Defenders, though, showed off their incredible heart in the second set as they went toe-to-toe with F2 Logistics before Ara Galang and the rest of her squad put out the gritty PVL newcomers.
Galang was hailed the Best Player of the Game as she finished with 14 Points built on 11 attacks, one block, and two aces.
Jolina Dela Cruz and Majoy Baron added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Cargo Movers.
With F2 Logistics now toting a 2-1 record, the former La Salle Lady Spikers star mentioned some points for improvement for the team as it looks ahead to its next games.
“Mas kailangan pa namin ma-polish yung galaw namin, ma-minimize lalo na 'yung errors namin. Mahalaga lang mag-connect kami as team, gumalaw kami together,” said Galang during the postgame interview.
