Representing the country on the international stage is where some of the finest athletes in the nation come together, often for the first time, to compete for pride and honor.
This is exactly the case for Sisi Rondina and Jia Morado-De Guzman, both of whom will see action for the Philippine women's national volleyball team in the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup.
Despite their individual success, Rondina and De Guzman have never shared the court as teammates. Rondina's extensive background in beach volleyball has kept her from competing on the taraflex for the Nationals, thus preventing possible collaborations in the past. The time is now.

For the Choco Mucho star, she couldn't help but feel thrilled and honored to team up with De Guzman, a decorated playmaker who was part of the Denso Airybees team that won the Japan V. Cup title.
“Excited ako. Actually, di ko kasi alam na kasama pala siya pero ayun isang karangalan na kasama siya,” Rondina told One Sports.
This collaboration holds immense promise and excitement.

Rondina, a two-time Southeast Asian Games bronze medallist in beach volleyball, is confident she will learn a great deal from De Guzman, a seasoned veteran with multiple indoor national team stints under her belt.
“Alam ko marami akong matutunan lalong lalo sa leadership and international experience niya. Siyempre iba pa rin ‘yung sa kanya kesa sa experience ko kasi more on beach ako eh,” Rondina shared.
