These Titans are awake.

Choco Mucho is on the board in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, overcoming a tough challenge from the feisty ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles Saturday at the PhilSports Arena, 14-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.

After an uncharacteristic 0-2 start for the conference, the Flying Titans appeared to be in even more trouble after ZUS Coffee zoomed to a sensational opening set.

But Choco Mucho settled down and got to work, dominating the rest of the way. The Flying Titans scored their first win, making moves in the Group B standings.

The much-needed win allowed Choco Mucho to tie Petro Gazz and Capital1 in the standings as both teams lost to Akari and Cignal, respectively, earlier in the game day.

Meanwhile, the Thunderbelles dropped to 0-3 as they continue to search for their elusive first win as a PVL franchise.

Royse Tubino was exceptional for the Flying Titans, finishing with 21 points all on attacks.
