The PVL playoff picture is almost complete.

Akari, Cignal, Creamline, PLDT, Chery Tiggo, two-time defending champion Petro Gazz, and Capital1 are through to the quarterfinals, which leave only one spot left up for grabs entering the final week of the PVL Reinforced Conference.

Only one team between the Farm Fresh Foxies and the Choco Mucho Flying Titans will secure the final playoff spot, which means both teams are going into their respective final prelims matches in must-win situations.

Among others, those who assured themselves of a playoff seat are still eyeing for a strong finish for better positioning, which hopefully come with favorable matchups in the postseason.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy as a brand new week of volley extravaganza will lit up the taraflex anew.

This has to be the biggest game in the history of the young Farm Fresh franchise in the PVL.

The Foxies enter their final preliminary game day with a simple scenario: win and in. A fourth win by Farm Fresh secures its breakthrough PVL playoff spot, eliminating Choco Mucho in the process.

A win by the Chargers, however, will not be the end of the line of Farm Fresh.

There’s still a chance that the Foxies could catch a last-minute playoff bus even with a loss to Akari, but everything will come down the line in the PLDT-Choco Mucho game.

About that…

After two All-Filipino Finals appearances and back-to-back silver-medal finishes, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans’ are in danger of missing the playoffs of the  PVL Reinforced Conference.

With a 2-5 record, Choco Mucho is on the brink and the Flying Titans are expected to treat their final game day against the PLDT High Speed Hitters with utmost importance.

A Farm Fresh loss to Akari opens things up for Choco Mucho to possibly sneak into the playoffs, but the Flying Titans need the Chargers to win in order for any of the possible computations to come into play.

Another crucial qualifier for Choco Mucho is the Flying Titans actually need to win, which would be no easy feat considering the opponent is current no. 4 seed PLDT.

The High Speed Hitters are incentivized to also win, as a loss could risk them going down the order. A loss also means that PLDT will enter the playoffs on a losing skid, echoing collapses in previous conferences.

Farm Fresh or Choco Mucho, regardless of whoever makes the PVL Playoffs, it should make for some interesting games to end the preliminary round of the Reinforced Conference.
