Kurashiki Ablaze secured a bronze medal in their second PVL Invitational, defeating Est Cola in straight sets (25-22, 26-24, 25-20) on September 12 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Saki Tanabe led Kurashiki with 13 points, while Kyoko Oshima's late-game heroics and a block by Low Mei Cing sealed the win.
Despite a tough five-set loss to Cignal HD Spikers the day before, Kurashiki bounced back strong.
Est Cola finished fourth in their PVL debut, with one win against the Farm Fresh Foxies.
