The Creamline Cool Smashers continue their dynasty with ten PVL titles, achieving the grand slam after a cardiac five-setter with the Cignal HD Spikers for the Invitational Conference championship.
The Creamline Cool Smashers outlasted the Cignal HD Spikers in a cardiac five-set final, 21-25, 25-17, 20-25, 26-24, 15-13, to win the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference.
This extended Creamline's dynasty to ten PVL titles. More importantly, it allowed the Cool Smashers to sweep all three conferences for the 2024 season.
Kyle Negrito was hailed Finals MVP with 25 excellent sets.
Import Erica Staunton added more with 29 points from 26 attacks.
Bernadeth Pons once again had a triple double with 27 points from 24 attacks, two aces and a block, along with 13 excellent digs and 16 excellent receptions.
MJ Perez exploded with 42 points for Cignal--but her 37 attacks, three aces, 11 excellent digs and 17 excellent receptions went for naught.
Dawn Macandili-Catindig also tallied 25 excellent digs.
