MACAU—Former NBA guard Jeremy Lin and Taiwanese celebrity Vanness Wu shared a lighthearted moment after the New Taipei Kings secured a third-place finish in the EASL Final Four 2025 Sunday at Studio City here.
New Taipei stormed from a six-point deficit with just 1:31 left in regulation, taking a thrilling 84-80 win against Japan's Ryukyu Golden Kings to clinch a podium spot.

As the buzzer sounded, Lin was greeted by Wu, a well-known member of the iconic F4 group from the Meteor Garden fame. The two shared a photo, with Vanness even rocking his own New Taipei jersey.
The two stars were also seen enjoying the post-game atmosphere, capping the Kings' strong showing in the tournament.
The Kings rebounded from a tough semifinal loss against the Hiroshima Dragonflies to claim a podium finish, proving their mettle against some of the best clubs in Asia.
New Taipei likewise earned a bit of redemption after getting blanked in last year's Final Four in Cebu, where they settled for fourth place.
