As the buzzer sounded, Lin was greeted by Wu, a well-known member of the iconic F4 group from the Meteor Garden fame. The two shared a photo, with Vanness even rocking his own New Taipei jersey.

The two stars were also seen enjoying the post-game atmosphere, capping the Kings' strong showing in the tournament.

The Kings rebounded from a tough semifinal loss against the Hiroshima Dragonflies to claim a podium finish, proving their mettle against some of the best clubs in Asia.

New Taipei likewise earned a bit of redemption after getting blanked in last year's Final Four in Cebu, where they settled for fourth place.
