One Sports caught up with Rain or Shine high-flying guard Adrian Nocum to ask him about his faith in time for the Holy Week.
Rain or Shine high-flying guard Adrian Nocum is a devotee of the Black Nazarene.
That started when he was young, when his father would bring him to the yearly feast in Quiapo at a young age.
He has not missed any procession since then.
Among the prayers that he offers to God are for his parents — for them to live a long life.
Every Holy Week, Nocum's late grandfather and now, his father, leads the Pabasa or the chanting of Jesus' passion.
One Sports reached out to Nocum to discuss how he practices his faith.

OS: Do you observe any religious practices during Holy Week?
Nocum: Sa'min, nagbi-Visita Iglesia kami. Then taun-taon, 'yong lolo ko, may Pabasa. Pero nawala na 'yong lolo ko. Ang pumalit [sa pagdarasal sa pabasa], 'yong erpat ko. Siya na 'yong nagma-manage ng Pabasa namin taun-taon.
OS: Do you have any specific prayer intention whenever you do that?
Nocum: 'Yong binabasa namin na prayer doon sa book.
OS: Do you have any religious devotion?
Nocum: Ako sa Hesus Nazareno ako, sa Quiapo. Madalas 'yon tuwing Friday. Hangga't kayang makapunta, pumupunta talaga ako.
