One Sports caught up with NorthPort guard Jio Jalalon to learn more about his faith in time for the Holy Week.
NorthPort guard Jio Jalalon made his PBA return last Wednesday, April 16, after a months-long battle against sciatica.
Jalalon could not help but feel elated to strut his stuff on the court anew and help the Batang Pier with his boundless energy.
He never wants to miss that feeling again.
In his prayers, good health is among the blessings he asks the Lord for.
One Sports talks to Jalalon about his religious practices in time for the Holy Week.

One Sports: What are the three things you thank God for in your daily prayers?
Jio Jalalon: Ako, everyday sa paggising, lagi kong ipinagpapasalamat 'yon. 'Yong health ko, and then family. 'Yon 'yong tatlong lagi kong ipinagpi-pray araw-araw.
OS: What are the three things you ask God for in your daily prayers? Are those the same with the blessings you are grateful to the Lord for?
Jalalon: Yes. 'Yon ang pinakaimportante sa'kin. Kasi life is too short, so 'yon ang kailangan natin.

OS: Do you observe any religious practices during the Holy Week?
OS: Whenever you do that, do you have any specific prayer intention?
Jalalon: Same lang. 'Yon lang ang always kong ipinagpi-pray. Pinapasalamatan ko lang lagi [ang Diyos] kasi, alam mo naman, 'yong temptation. 'Yon [ang ipinagdarasal] ko lagi ngayon. As of now, OK naman. Nasa tamang direksiyon tayo.
OS: Do you have a religious devotion?
Jalalon: For me, wala.
