One Sports reached out to PBA legend Danny Ildefonso to learn more about his faith in time for the Holy Week.
Just like any father, Danny Ildefonso prays for his children.
And as God hears his supplication to make his children happy and successful, Ildefonso wants them to be vessels of His blessings to others.
One Sports reached out to the PBA great to ask how he spends the Holy Week.

One Sports: Whenever you pray, what are the three things you thank God for?
Danny Ildefonso: Lagi kong ipinagpi-pray is, No. 1, good health. 'Yon naman ang importante. Second, ang maging masaya lahat ng mga anak ko. Siyempre, [ang success ng] business namin.
OS: Whenever you pray, what are the three things you ask God for?
Ildefonso: 'Yong maging successful lahat ng mga anak ko. Sabi ko nga palagi sa mga anak ko, kung ano 'yong buhay nila ngayon, magiging buhay din ng mga anak nila. 'Yung pagiging successful ay 'yong maging blessing sila sa ibang tao.

OS: How about winning the election? (Ildefonoso is running for councilor in Urdaneta)
Ildefonso: Manalo, siyempre. Para matupad 'yong dream kong makatulong sa mga grassroots [programs] namin sa Pangasinan.
OS: Is there any religious practice you observe during Lent?
Ildefonso: Before. But Christian na kami ngayon since 2001, sa Victory. Pero respect pa rin.
Kasi sa amin, sinalo na lahat ni God 'yong kasalanan natin. Kailangan na lang nating magsaya at gawin 'yong mga tama. I-apply na lang natin kung bakit si God ang sumalo sa lahat ng mga kasalanan natin. Palagi natin tandaang na-save na tayo kaya't gawin na natin 'yong tama.
