One Sports caught up with Rain or Shine guard Gian Mamuyac to learn more about his faith in time for the Holy Week
Whenever Rain or Shine guard Gian Mamuyac opens his eyes in the morning, he makes sure to thank God for the blessing of another day.
That alone is a gift, along with the opportunities that God showers his way everyday.
Mamuyac said that he is content with his life, and there is nothing much that he asks for.
One Sports caught up with Mamuyac right before the PBA went into the Holy Week break to learn more about how he practices his faith.

One Sports: What are the three things that you thank God for in your daily prayers?
Gian Mamuyac: Siyempre, una, simula ng araw, for waking up, for another opportunity to live; for good health, safe at healthy 'yong family ko; and sa opportunities na nakukuha ko sa araw-araw.
OS: What are the three things that you ask God for in your daily prayers?
Mamuyac: 'Yon din. Good health and safety for all my family members and loved ones. 'Pag may game, na maganda ang laro ko, maganda ang laro ng team. Then for opportunities lang din, for better opportunities in the future.

OS: Do you observe any religious practices during the Holy Week?
Mamuyac: Yes. Visita Iglesia, for sure. Nagahahanap na rin kami kung saan kami makaka-visit. Siguro, we will do it as a family. Kasama ang sister ko and 'yong family niya.
OS: Do you have any specific prayer intention when you observe this religious practice?
Mamuyac: Same lang din halos. Content naman ako sa life. Laging 'yon lang din ang ipinagdadasal ko.
OS: Do you have a religious devotion?
Mamuyac: Wala naman. (smiles)
