The new PVL season is on the horizon, yet moves have only started picking up.

While there have been plenty of conversations across the league, one is undoubtedly dominant: where will Eya Laure end up?

Recently, rumors have swirled that the 25-year-old outside hitter is ready to move on from the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

It’s still unclear whether or not Laure will be making a move right away. For now, it’s best to check out which teams have the best chance of landing the prized superstar.

Choco Mucho Flying Titans

A reunion with her former UST Growling Tigresses and current Alas Pilipinas teammate, Sisi Rondina, could be in the cards for Laure should she decide to join the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

Laure will also be alongside one of her R.I.D.E. besties, Deanna Wong, should she join the Flying Titans.

After finishing 9th in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, having Rondina and (possibly) Laure in the lineup will immediately boost Choco Mucho back into finals contention.

PLDT High Speed Hitters

The PLDT High Speed Hitters could be a dark horse in the race for Laure’s services.

PLDT finished 4th in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference and has been eyeing key reinforcements to improve their offensive firepower.

With seasoned players like Mika Reyes and Majoy Baron holding down the defense, Laure could provide the much-needed offensive boost on the wings alongside the returning Savi Davison and Kianna Dy.

Her ability to deliver under pressure might be just what PLDT needs to finally win the PVL crown this season.

Cignal HD Spikers

Another strong contender could be the Cignal HD Spikers.

Known for their aggressive play and consistent presence in the semifinals, the HD Spikers could offer Laure a platform to chase championships.

Cignal’s system revolves around a strong middle presence, but the team has been looking for a dynamic outside hitter to complement their balanced offense.

Laure’s explosiveness and scoring ability would fit right into their rotation, turning them into instant title favorites.

Other Teams in Contention: Farm Fresh Foxies, Capital1 Solar Spikers

The Farm Fresh Foxies and Capital1 Solar Spikers are newcomers to the PVL but have shown ambition in building competitive rosters.

Farm Fresh, in particular, has been aggressive in scouting and signing young talent, and adding Laure to their lineup could instantly raise their profile in the league.

Meanwhile, Capital1’s focus on veteran leadership mixed with fresh recruits could be an intriguing option for Laure, should she prioritize a team with a strategic mix of experience and youth.

Where will Laure end up? We'll find out soon enough.
