Star rookie Angge Poyos suffered an apparent ankle injury in Game 1 Saturday against NU, going down in the second set as the Golden Tigresses struggle to find form against the Lady Bulldogs.
Poyos twisted her right ankle in the middle of set two after freak incident, landing on the foot of teammate Em Banagua.
Without Poyos, UST is missing the second-best scorer of all of UAAP Season 86.
At press time, NU leads UST two sets to none in Game 1.
