After their well-fought stint in UAAP Season 86, she is now ready to ace the game of love.

It was a heartbreaking season for the DLSU Lady Spikers after succumbing to the gritty UST Golden Tigresses, failing to defend their throne.

But, as they always say, a rainbow comes after the rain. There is still a silver lining to everything.

A photo captured by DLSU Sports went viral where a tall man who was turning away from the camera hugged distraught Thea right after their gut-wrenching defeat, and Thea’s brother, UP Fighting Maroons’ Seven, was smiling to them, who looked so kilig to the two.

There were a lot of speculations that this man was Thea’s boyfriend.

While there were no confirmations, Thea jokingly hard launched SEVENTEEN’s lead rapper, Mingyu.

But the soft launch days are over for Thea. It’s about time to let the online world know the special person who became her motivation.

In her Instagram story, the 6-foot-2 Lady Spiker greeted the UP Fighting Maroons’ 6-foot-8 giant Sean Alters.

“Happy Birthday,” Thea wrote.

“Thank you, ML,” Sean short-but-sweetly commented.

Seven also quietly confirmed the relationship between the two with his birthday greeting.

“Happy Birthday, Yawba,” he wrote, which is a backward version of the word "bayaw," or brother-in-law.

Here's to this tall couple; may their love always tower above the rest (literally and figuratively).
