Queen Bella is running it back with the defending champion National University Lady Bulldogs.

The reigning Season 86 Most Valuable Player in Bella Belen announced that she is returning for the Lady Bulldogs for Season 87 in National U’s title-retention bid.

“REDEMPTION COMPLETE 🏆We’re not yet done. Time to make it two in a row! See you all next season 💙💛,” Belen said in a post.

The 21-year-old hitter, alongside Finals MVP Alyssa Solomon, led the Bulldogs back to the collegiate women’s volleyball summit after sweeping the top-seeded UST Golden Tigresses in the championship series.

It was the Lady Bulldogs' second title in the last three years and their fourth championship in school history. Belen is a two-time UAAP best outside hitter nods to her name from NU's two championship runs in Seasons 84 and 86.

They would also be bringing valuable international experience, after they were tapped to join Alas Pilipinas in the upcoming FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup.

Both superstars declined to participate in the 2023 AVC Women’s Challenge Cup, in which the Nationals took home a historic bronze medal finish.
