Selangor Red Giants bring honor to Malaysia, defeating the reigning M5 world champions Falcons AP.Bren in a tense Grand Finals showdown at Mobile Legends Mid-Season Cup on Sunday at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The 4-3 win marked a breakthrough MSC title for the Malaysian crew.

Falcons AP.Bren kicked off the series with dominance and discipline against the Selangor Red Giants, not conceding any deaths until the seven-minute mark.

But the Red Giants held tight and managed to wipe out AP.Bren and steal the lord objective during the 13-minute contention.

The Falcons outplayed Selangor with a back-door play from Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel on Julian at 17-minute lord contention. Pheww on Julian then punctuated the neck-and-neck affair and was hailed as the MVP with a 3-2-13 KDA.

In game two, the Selangor Red Giants flipped the narrative and pulled off a decisive win against Falcons AP.Bren, tying the best-of-seven series with one score apiece.

Muhammad “SEKYSSS” Zaman on Ling spelled the difference for the Red Giants, fearlessly diving into the backlines of AP.Bren.

The Red Giants went unstoppable for a base siege, pressuring David “FlapTzy” Canon on Terizla as Falcons AP.Bren’s last line of defense.

SEKYSSS delivered an impressive performance on Ling with a 4-2-7 KDA and 100% kill participation.

In game three, AP.Bren recovered and defeated the Red Giants with a lopsided 22-6 kill score.

The Falcons prioritized picking Ling in their draft, but the Red Giants responded with a sustain-centric composition, drafting Thamuz, Angela, and Hilda.

Selangor’s Muhammad "Yums" Suhairi on Hilda attempted to disrupt Michael ‘KyleTzy” Sayson on Ling in the jungle area, but did not succeed.

Falcons AP.Bren dominated the Selangor Red Giants as KyleTzy exploded for a double kill score during the 15-minute base siege in the middle-lane jungle area.

KyleTzy on Ling clinched MVP with a perfect 11-0-7 KDA.

In game four, the Red Giants poured their hearts out and delivered a stellar performance, possessing massive control and not conceding any deaths until the 13-minute period.

But AP.Bren remained patient for the perfect opportunity to flip the narrative against Selangor.

KyleTzy on Akai took the spotlight with a perfectly-timed retribution play to steal the lord objective right at the 14-minute mark.

Falcons AP.Bren refused to back down with a gritty defense, extending the game to 18 minutes.

But Mark Genzon Sojero “Kramm” Rusiana on Terizla delivered the game-winning three kills in the last skirmish for the Selangor Red Giants.

SEKYSS on Fanny shone bright with a 7-0-4 KDA in the lopsided 18-4 match.

In game five, the Selangor Red Giants surprised Falcons AP.Bren with an Alpha pick as a jungler.

Falcons AP.Bren took control of the early game, but their lead was squandered after a mishap during the 10-minute skirmish in the middle lane.

Selangor’s Yums on Tigreal and Kramm on Xborg worked like a well-oiled machine, coming up with Implosion-Last Insanity to eliminate KyleTzy on Fanny.

As a result, the Selangor Red Giants took the lord objective uncontested.

Kramm on Xborg earned the MVP award with a 4-3-7 KDA and 92% kill participation, bringing Selangor to match point.

In game six, Falcons AP.Bren got back on their feet as Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo on Faramis provided enough sustain during the base siege against the Selangor Red Giants.

Marco “SuperMarco” Requitiano on Roger clawed his way with an impeccable 7-0-4 KDA, forcing a game seven for the MSC crown.

In the decisive game, the Red Giants attempted to close the series during the 11-minute mark with the lord marching on their side, but Falcons AP.Bren’s scrappy defense was on full display to extend the series.

But the moment of truth arrived after the Selangor Red Giants wiped out Falcons AP.Bren during the 17th-minute clash at the bottom lane, securing the MSC championship.

Selangor’s top-performing jungler, SEKYSSS, was hailed as the MSC’s Finals MVP as the Malaysian side also took the majority of the $1 million prize pool.
