Sabrina Ionescu's first visit to the Philippines in seven years was nothing short of spectacular as the New York Liberty superstar dazzled in her various events and activities.
In this latest special edition of Our Snaps, One Sports photojournalist RM Chua spent two days chasing after WNBA champion and Olympic gold medalist Sabrina Ionescu in Manila as part of the Liberty star’s Asia tour with Nike.

"Shooting Sabrina Ionescu's Manila tour was just an unforgettable experience. It's a rare opportunity to have these kinds of moments or to have a chance to cover such a big name in the sports industry.
The experience from Day 1 of her Manila Tour at The Courtyard in BGC was wild. I was there at the venue two hours before the event, visualizing and coming up with ideas in mind on how or where to have great shots of her.
However, none of it went as planned. While challenging, the adrenaline rush and creative challenge such a wild event brings are the best part. You have to work your way through to get the images that you’re satisfied with and something to be proud of.
Coming up for Day 2 of her tour was a bit more chill and relaxed as she participated in exhibition games at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. What I had in mind shooting this particular event was more on how I can make an image engaging to the viewers and creating different images ranging from wide and tight shots.
Overall, the experience was all about making the most out of Sabrina’s brief Manila visit. I aimed to create something memorable and worthwhile to look back on for the future."
