Aurora team captain Renejay "Renejay" Barcase exudes confidence for Aurora Gaming ahead of the Mobile Legends M6 World Championship.
Aurora team captain and roamer Renejay "Renejay" Barcase is not lacking any confidence ahead of the Mobile Legends M6 World Championship, set from November 28 to December 15 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Despite their runner-up finish in the MPL Season 14 final, Renejay is expecting bigger things from his squad.
“Siyempre mas ineexpect ko mas mahigit. Siyempre gusto ko makuha namin ‘yung title kasi ‘yun talaga ‘yung dahilan kung bakit kami nandito. Kumbaga mag-champion at marepresent ang Pinas,” Renejay told One Sports prior to their departure to Malaysia.
“Siyempre lahat naman siguro gusto mag-champion kami kaya yun din expectation. Sana mangyari.”
MPL PH Season 14 champion Fnatic ONIC PH and Aurora Gaming departed from Manila earlier today for Kuala Lumpur.

Renejay is no stranger to playing in the biggest of stages, having played for Blacklist International during the M5 World Champions, where they finished in third place.
Along with Edward, Demonkite, Yue, and Domeng, Renejay knows that their hard work during practice and games will bear fruit in Malaysia.
“Deserve namin mag-champion kasi grabe naman ‘yung hard work namin sa paglalaro. Tignin ko deserve naman namin na spot na champion,” said Renejay.
Aurora’s first battle in the world championships will be against Falcon Esports of Myanmar.
