A magnificent performance was rendered in London during the W25 Roehampton final, courtesy of Alex Eala. As a result, the Filipino tennis prodigy defeated the tournament's no. 2 seed, Arina Rodionova of Australia, 6-2, 6-3. The victory on Sunday signified Eala's fourth International Tennis Federation (ITF) title.

It was a huge win for the youngster out of Quezon City and it couldn't have come in a better time as her family was about to celebrate a very special milestone.

"ITF Pro Title #4!! Just in time for my parents 25th Anniversary tomorrow! Love you mom and dad," Eala posted on Facebook on Sunday night.

Massive support from Filipinos poured in as the 18-year-old baseliner.

Former PBA commissioner Noli Eala was ecstatic seeing her niece claim another ITF trophy.

"Another win. Another step to greatness. Congrats Alex Eala on your 4th pro title," he tweeted.

Of course, the Rafa Nadal Academy product received love from her alma mater. "Congratulations! Alex Eala has won her fourth @ITFTennis title! What a great week in Roehampton! VAMOOOOS! MABUHAY," the tennis school posted.

Tennis fan @vincenco_manalo, meanwhile, underscored Alex's terrific run in Roehampton by pointing out that the tourney's top seeds all fell to Eala. "Defeated #1, #2 and #3 seeds and 4 Aussies on the way to this title! Good Job Alex!"

Another supporter in @chofornal was simply elated to see her fellow Filipina get that W.

The Roehampton championship is indeed Eala's second ITF crown this year. The first one came last June in Yecla, Spain. Before 2023 ends, seeing Alex win another title or two is definitely not out of the question.
