Two-time UAAP champion Alyssa Solomon talks food and her dream job outside of volleyball, as she takes on fan questions during Reddit’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) hosted by One Sports.
National University’s Alyssa Solomon braved questions from fans during the UAAP Content Day over the weekend, as she bared her favorites and her ideal job if she didn’t become a volleyball player with the Lady Bulldogs.
Before going into their title defense in UAAP Season 87, Solomon took on anything under the sun as she plunged into Reddit’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) hosted by One Sports.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? What is your comfort food?
Kumain lang Linda’s — sa canteen namin and makinig ng music on the way para nare-relax yung mind ko and wala akong masyadong iniisip :)
If you weren’t a volleyball player, what other passion would you pursue in life?
Vet kasi wala, gusto ko ng animals, and lalo na 'yung tigers. Gusto ko mag-alaga ng tiger… Ang weird.
What’s your favorite type of silog?
TOCILOG!
What excites you the most about volleyball?
Siguro 'yung ano, mga bagong achievements sa laro and sa training na parang may madi-discover na, ay, kaya ko pala 'yon?!?!
What was your favorite team na nakalaban mo internationally?
Russian team! Grabe, sobrang saya nila kalaban and ang lalaki nila. Ang hirap din nilang lapagan. Very exciting!

First... phone hahaha kasi nabo-bore ako and siguro yung time 😁
Do you ever overthink while you’re on court? How do you manage high-pressure situations in the moment?
Actually sanayan na lang 'yan eh. Sa dami ko nang na-experience nasanay na lang din ako na pano ko ikakalma 'yung sarili ko.
Any tips for opposite spikers na right handed? Since medyo mas tricky pumalo sa right side if you're not a lefty.
Actually mahirap talaga siya beh, lalo na pag out of system galing sa likod pero siguro timing lang talaga 😂
Dream teamate sa national team na hindi mo pa nakakasama?
Si Angel, 'di ko siya nakasama nung Alas so siguro magiging masaya kung magkakasama kami. And si Detdet, 'di ko siya nakasama sa tournament pero nakasama siya sa training.
