It has been a successful opening stint for Justin Brownlee and Pelita Jaya Jakarta in the Basketball Champions League Asia Qualifiers.

 

Jakarta started strong and finished well Saturday, taking down Adroit Club, 82-64, at the UG Arena in Mongolia.

 

The win pushed Pelita Jaya to 3-0, safely into round 2 as the no. 1 team in Group B.

 Brownlee finished with 18 points and six rebounds for Jakarta, while also adding one assist, one steal, and one block.

It was another efficient outing for Brownlee, who shot 7/9 from the field.

 

Through the first round of these qualifiers, Brownlee is averaging a strong 18.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 56.8 percent from the field.

 

Against Adroit Club, it was JaQuori McLaughlin who lead the way for Pelita Jaya with 25 points. Muhammad Guntara added 11 markers.
