Manny Pacquiao vs. Chihiro Suzuki is set for July 28 in the Super Rizin 3 event at the Saitama Super Arena.
Manny Pacquiao is set to fight again.
The former eight-division world boxing champion will return to the ring July 28, taking on Japanese MMA star Chihiro Suzuki in a three-round exhibition at Super Rizin 3 in Saitama, the Rizin Fighting Federation announced Sunday.
Suzuki is Rizin’s current featherweight champion, with an MMA record of 13 wins against three losses, with seven wins by way of knockout.
“With all due respect, I’m going to knock you out in the first round,” Suzuki said in Japanese during his ring faceoff with Pacquiao at Rizin 47.
“I will do my best, I will let him know that boxing is harder than an MMA fight,” Pacquiao said in response.
Manny’s last professional fight was a loss to Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight world championship in 2021.
After the Ugas fight, Pacquiao fought an exhibition against Korean martial artist DK Yoo in 2022, winning the six-round fight via unanimous decision.
