It feels like sports correspondent Apple David has just woken up from a dream after getting an amazing photo opportunity with her idol, the USA's men’s volleyball star, Micah Christenson.
Veteran sportscaster Apple David hit two birds with one stone.
Apart from the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cover one of the most prestigious international volleyball competitions, she also got the chance to have a picture taken with Team USA’s ace, Micah Christenson.

May nanalo na talaga, as she received a signed volleyball jersey from Micah, himself!
“Woke up feeling blessed. thank you, @mchristenson11 🇺🇸,” she wrote on Instagram.
Apple has definitely earned this moment after years of hard work in every word, every game, and every moment.
Her mom has also won the luckiest fangirl award, as she took a picture with the key players of Team Japan, Yuki Ishikawa, Kento Miyaura, and Taishi Onodera.

Micah has recently expressed his gratitude to the country following their successful stint in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League Philippine leg.
“What an experience to come and play volleyball here in the Philippines. All I can say is THANK YOU to everyone for their support and love. You guys are incredible! Team USA will forever remember this trip,” he shared.
