Everything has fallen into place for Osaka Evessa guard Ray Parks Jr. and content creator Zeinab Harake as they start a new chapter in their life.
It was just less than a week ago when an interview with Filipino-American cager Ray Parks Jr. and YouTube vlogger Zeinab Harake went viral on social media.
In their guest appearance on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube channel, Parks admitted that he already felt complete with her “instant family” with his girlfriend, Zeinab.
Before committing to one another, Zeinab was a single mom of two kids who was still healing after her separation from her former partner. But after being introduced to a common friend, they have found solace with one another.
Ray has become the anchor in her storm. Through every lingering doubt and hesitant step forward, Ray’s patient love emerged as a beacon of unwavering reassurance.
“For me, pumasok ako sa relasyon namin na, not asking for anything, but going in with what I can give—peace of mind, genuine support career-wise, and tulong talaga in all aspects,” Parks shared with Toni.
“Sobrang thankful po kasi bata pa lang po ako gusto ko na po talagang magkaroon ng family. Eh hindi po biniyayan ni Lord, iba ‘yong plans ni God since sovereign Siya, ito, instant family,” he added.

In a YouTube vlog of Zeinab uploaded on Sunday night, Parks. Jr. has already asked for the blessing of Harake’s parents.
Underneath a starlit canopy, the soft glow of twinkling lights, and surrounded by their dearest loved ones, Ray crafted a pure night of enchantment. As tears of joy sparkled into their eyes, he finally asked Zeinab to join him in the next chapter of their lives as his wife.
“I am truly blessed to call you my best friend, my lover, and my biggest supporter, and I hope that you feel the same way towards me. I want to continue to build a Christ-centered relationship in which I will lead and serve with the best of my abilities,” Parks said to Harake.
“Your genuine, loving, compassionate heart is the crown of your beauty. You and the kids are my home, and I can’t imagine life without y’all. With that, I brought all of our friends, family, and loved ones here today to bear witness and ask you one thing: Zeinab Harake, would you make me the happiest man in the world? Will you marry me?", he added.
After saying yes, Zeinab explained that she had reservations before when it came to marriage because of her previous relationship. But after Parks has shown him the beauty of trust and the strength of his commitment, she has found the courage to say "yes.”.
“Hindi ako naniniwala sa kasal na tao dahil na rin sa mga pinagdaanan ko, pero nung dumating si Ray sa buhay ko, doon ko na-ano ‘yung sarili ko na magse-settle ako sa taong ito kasi nakikita ko sa kanya ang future na alam niyang maiintindihan niya ako kahit sa pinakamahirap na sitwasyon pa ng buhay namin,” Harake said.
“Sumugal ako ngayon with our lives talaga, buhay naming tatlo ng bata binibigay ko sa’yo kasi naniniwala ako sa Diyos, sa’yo and deserve mo ang yes,” the content creator added.
Ray and Zeinab, popularly known as RayNab, celebrated their one-year anniversary last month.
