No one can ever doubt the scoring prowess of Peter June Simon. After all, he was called the Scoring Apostle for a reason.

Recently, Simon has been working out with basketball skills trainer Nicolo Chua.

The two also recently had a three-day basketball training camp in Simon's hometown of Davao City.

There, the 42-year-old Simon showcased once more that he still has the moves to get buckets.

It’s been over two years since Simon retired from the PBA.

Simon is most known for his rise from an unsigned, fifth-round rookie pick in the 2001 PBA Draft to one of the most reliable wings in Magnolia Hotshots franchise history.

In his 16-year career, the Scoring Apostle averaged 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

That career includes a long list of awards and achievements: he is an eight-time PBA All-Star and eight-time PBA champion, including the 2013-2014 Grand Slam of Magnolia, then carrying the name of San Mig Coffee Mixers. Simon is also a former PBA All-Star Game MVP and 3-Point Shootout champion.

If Simon were to make a PBA comeback like Danny Ildefonso, would we even be surprised if he gets to contribute numbers like he used to back in the day? Probably not.
