There’s no other place you’d rather be on Sunday.
After a long wait, the PBA is finally set to return for its 48th season.
Apart from the opening game pitting the Magnolia Hotshots and TNT Tropang Giga, there’s a lot fans can enjoy when the new season unfurls on Sunday.
Check them out below:
Twosome of Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola
The two Dabarkads, perhaps the most prominent comics today, will host the opening ceremony at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Leo Awards, which will fete the top individuals in the previous season, will also precede the lone game between TNT and Magnolia.
Gilas parade
As a tribute to the gold-medal winning Gilas Pilipinas, a parade will be held in the team's honor around Araneta City starting at 3 p.m. It's the most fitting welcome for the crew that made history in the Asian Games in China.
The team, reinforced by Justin Brownlee, broke a 61-year dry spell and won the gold medal in the recently concluded continental showpiece.

Then, after all that, comes the lone game, and it happens to be a dandy as two contenders go up against each other to tip off what promises to be another banner season.
Indeed, there's no place you'd rather be on a Sunday.
The best thing, of course, is to at the venue to enjoy the festivities live and in person. If that is not possible, you can catch most of the happenings live on A2Z, PBA Rush on Cignal, and the Pilipinas Live App.
